Capturing Lifestyle Moments at voco Bandung
Lifestyle photography is always about timing, trust, and atmosphere — and this project at voco Bandung had all three from the very beginning.
From the moment we arrived, the experience felt smooth and effortless. The team at voco Bandung was incredibly supportive, responsive, and genuinely pleasant to work with. Every request was handled quickly, and the coordination on set allowed us to focus fully on what matters most: capturing natural moments that reflect the hotel’s lifestyle and character.
The shoot itself flowed naturally. There were no major challenges during the process, largely thanks to how well-prepared and accommodating the voco Bandung team was. This kind of collaboration makes a big difference — it creates space for creativity to grow without unnecessary pressure.
For this session, all images were captured using the Sony A7 IV, paired with the 70–200mm and 16–35mm lenses. This combination allowed flexibility throughout the shoot, from wide lifestyle scenes that showcase the environment to tighter frames that highlight details and expressions without interrupting the moment.
Post-production was done in Adobe Photoshop, where each image was carefully retouched to maintain a natural, clean, and refined look — staying true to the lifestyle concept while enhancing the overall mood.
This project was a reminder that great visuals are not only about equipment or technique, but also about collaboration and trust. Working with voco Bandung was truly enjoyable, and the process felt just as rewarding as the final results.
